How to heal a scratched spot
Before you decide to scratch your spots with your nails consider maybe a safe way to do this by using these tools: You can wash it with warm water. Make sure it's dry so that no rust could develop and and don't forget to disinfect it . I disinfect it using isopropanol alcohol. I find it easy to use when the loop is at an angle as you can see on the photo. When you are using these tools for the first time you may find it difficult to use. But practising makes it easy. Don't press too hard or do anything that can hurt the skin. Just try to see which direction the opened pore is pointing and move your extractor in the same direction .
